Daniel Loewe

• Licenciado en Filosofía, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 1994.

Sus áreas de especialización son filosofía política, filosofía moral y ética, con especial énfasis en teorías igualitarias, multiculturalismo, teorías liberales, ética de los animales, ética del medioambiente y teorías de justicia internacional. Junto al desarrollo de numerosos proyectos de investigación se ha desempeñado como investigador y profesor visitante del CNRS en la Universidad de Oxford y en la Universidad de Tübingen, entre otros. Es miembro del Research Centre for Political Philosophy de la Universidad Tübingen y del Interdepartmental Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities de la misma Universidad.

PhD in Philosophy at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. BA in Philosophy, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of research are political philosophy, moral theory and ethics particularly egalitarian theories, multiculturalism, liberal theories, theories of international justice, animal ethics and environmental ethics. He has been a researcher and a visiting professor at the CNRS, Oxford University and an assistant professor at the University of Tübingen, while working on various international projects in the different fields of his research. He is a member of the Research Centre for Political Philosophy and of the Interdepartmental Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities at the University of Tübingen.
