SEMESTER EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

• Be a regular student of the curriculum of a Bachelor’s Degree taught by the Adolfo Ibáñez University.
• Have completed, at this University, at least one semester of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Have a minimum weighted average of 4.5 (four point five) at the time of applying.
• Not having been sanctioned or having his / her name in the registry of annotations for infractions of the duty of honesty or any serious or very serious infraction contemplated in the Honor Code of the Students of the University.
• Comply with the language requirements imposed by the university of destination.
• Be up to date in the payment of the educational fees of the Adolfo Ibáñez University.

All students who opt to do an exchange, must continue paying the UAI (tuition and monthly payments, just as if it were here.) Scholarships are still valid and if you pay with credit, nothing changes about this concept.

There is NO pay for tuition and monthly payments to the university where you do your exchange.

Your exchange expenses will include paying for the tickets and costs of the visa process (if necessary)

Table of estimated costs of an exchange:

• Accommodation
• Food
• Transportation in the city
• Accounts (water, electricity, cell phone, etc.)
• Estimated expenses, may vary for each city (capitals and / or large cities are usually more expensive)

The students selected for exchange will receive information where they can choose subjects that they can study at the University of destination. In addition, they will be given a form for the application of branches, which they must fill in completely for validation by their faculty or corresponding department.

Students should take special care to select the courses that are dictated in their exchange semester, also taking into account that the foreign university has the freedom to change, remove or reject branches without prior notice.

Branches that have not been authorized by the Department of International Relations and / or the corresponding Faculty will not be validated.

• Other idiomatomatics exams (German, French, Italian, etc. with CEFR scale (Common European Framework of Reference.)
• CEFR scale (basic A1 – A2 | Intermediate B1 – B2 | Advanced C1 – C2)

A single certificate is needed depending on the language in which you want to study.

Application Form

Applications will be enabled in the following periods:

• From 01 to 31 May: exchanges for the 1st semester of the following year
• From 01 to 31 October: exchanges for the 2nd semester of the following year
