Throughout her career, she has worked as Professor at the Applied Economics Center of the Department of Industrial Engineering (DII) of the Universidad de Chile and also at the School of Government of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Between 2006 and March 2010, she served as Alternate Minister of Economy of the Court for the Defense of Free Competition. Between March 2010 and March 2014, she served as Undersecretary of Planning and later as Undersecretary of Social Evaluation, contributing to the drafting and processing of several projects of law, such as the one that created the Ministry of Social Development and the Ethical Family Income, among others.
