Su investigación se ha enfocado en usar electroencefalografía (EEG) para investigar procesos sensoriales en humanos. Recientemente se ha enfocado en desarrollar y aplicar metodologías de investigación en neurociencias cognitivas para hacer uso de técnicas de neuro-imágenes en ambientes con altos niveles de validez ecológica.

Actualmente es parte del equipo de investigación del CSCN y profesor en la Facultad de Psicología de la UAI.
