Actualmente es investigadora del Instituto Latinoamericano de Salud Cerebral (Brainlat) en la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Su trabajo se centra en caracterizar los mecanismos y principios computacionales fundamentales subyacentes a los distintos estados cerebrales, y como estos se ven afectados en las enfermedades neuropsiquiátrica y en los estados alterados de conciencias; con la esperanza de ofrecer nuevas vías para el tratamiento de los estados mentales disfuncionales. Su investigación integra modelos matemáticos de gran escala con métodos de análisis avanzados aplicados a datos de neuroimagen multimodal, neurofisiología y neuropsicología.
