Ph.D. in Management

Todd Pezzuti is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the School of Business at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He earned his Ph.D. in Management (Marketing) from the University of California, Irvine. His research uses experiments along with structured and unstructured data to uncover what drives consumer behavior, with particular interests in language, culture, and digital marketing.

His work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Journal of International Marketing, and the Journal of Interactive Marketing, among others. His research has been featured in major media outlets such as The New York Times, CNN, NPR, The Guardian, and the BBC. He regularly presents his work at conferences organized by the Association for Consumer Research and the American Marketing Association.

Prior to joining Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Professor Pezzuti was an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Chile.

Todd Pezzuti es Profesor Asociado de Marketing en la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Obtuvo su doctorado en Management (Marketing) en la Universidad de California, Irvine. Su investigación utiliza experimentos y datos estructurados y no estructurados para comprender qué impulsa el comportamiento del consumidor, con intereses particulares en el lenguaje, la cultura y el marketing digital.

Su trabajo ha sido publicado en revistas líderes, incluyendo Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Journal of International Marketing y Journal of Interactive Marketing, entre otras. Su investigación ha sido destacada en importantes medios de comunicación como The New York Times, CNN, NPR, The Guardian y la BBC. Regularmente presenta su trabajo en conferencias organizadas por la Association for Consumer Research y la American Marketing Association.

Antes de unirse a la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, el profesor Pezzuti fue Profesor Asistente de Marketing en el Departamento de Ingeniería Industrial de la Universidad de Chile.
