Se incorporó a la Escuela de Negocios UAI en mayo de 2016 como Profesor Asistente en el área de Operaciones.

Entre 2014 y 2016, se desempeñó como profesor asistente en el Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering en Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).

Su principal área de investigación es la optimización, en particular la programación entera-mixta, incluyendo sus aspectos teóricos y sus aplicaciones a problemas relevantes de ingeniería y negocios.
