Docteur de Mathematiques
Roberto Cominetti es Ingeniero Civil Matemático en la Universidad de Chile. Obtuvo su Doctorado en Matemáticas Aplicadas por la Universidad Blaise Pascal, Francia en 1989. Desde 2015 es profesor titular de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, donde codirige el programa de Doctorado en Ingeniería Industrial e Investigación de Operaciones, y dicta cursos para pregrado. Sus investigaciones se centran en el área de la optimización convexa y la teoría de juegos. Ha publicado mas de 50 artículos en revistas y ha sido plenarista invitado en conferencias internacionales, incluyendo una charla semi-plenaria en el 22nd International Symposium on Mathematical Programming, EE.UU. Se desempeñó como profesor titular en la Universidad de Chile. Actualmente es editor asociado de las revistas Journal of Convex Analysis, Mathematical Programming, y Mathematics of Operations Research. Es miembro del Council-at-Large de la Mathematical Optimization Society.
