Jacopo Seccatore

Jacopo Seccatore es Ingeniero Civil y Magíster en Geoingeniería por el Politecnico di Torino, Italia en 2010 y obtuvo su doctorado en Ingeniería de Minas por la Universidad de Sao Paulo, Brasil en 2014. Desde 2016 es profesor de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez en Chile, donde dicta clases de métodos y técnicas de explotación minera en subterraneo y superficie. Fundador, ex coordinador y asesor científico del Proyecto Mina Experimental de la Universidad de Sao Paulo. Tiene experiencia en Ingeniería de Explosivos para aplicaciones mineras y civiles, construcción de túneles y espacios subterráneos, Minería a Cielo Abierto y Subterránea. Es consultor del Politécnico di Torino; la Universidad de British Columbia, Canadá; el Consejo Mundial del Oro, Reino Unido; el Proyecto GOMIAM y varias empresas y administraciones públicas de todo el mundo. Es Miembro Titular de la Sociedad Internacional de Ingenieros Explosivos (ISEE), Estados Unidos; de la Orden de Ingenieros, Italia; del Instituto Australasiano de Minería y Metalurgia, Australia y de la Sociedad de Profesores de Minería (Societät der Bergbaukunde). Socio fundador y ex afiliado del Consejo de Administración de la Asociación Brasileña de Ingeniería de Explosivos. Editor Asociado de la Revista Escuela de Minas.
