Eduardo Moreno
Eduardo Moreno es Doctor en Informática por la Université Paris-Est Marne-La-Vallée, Francia y PhD en Ciencias de la Ingeniería y Modelación Matemática por la Universidad de Chile.
Desde 2007 es profesor asociado y director de Investigación de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias de la Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Además fue codirector de los Doctorados Management Sciences, entre el 2009 y 2013, y de Ingeniería Industrial e Investigación de Operaciones, periodo 2015-2017.
Sus áreas de estudio son la Optimización y la Investigación de Operaciones, particularmente en problemas de gran tamaño, con aplicaciones al transporte, telecomunicaciones y planificación minera. Ha liderado diversos proyectos de investigación con fondos públicos (Fondecyt, Fondef, Fondequip, Anillo), así como proyectos aplicados en la industria (ENAP, SII, Kapsch, Barrick, Newmont). También es investigador asociado del Centro de Modelamiento Matemático y vicepresidente del Instituto Chileno de Investigación Operativa.
