Short thematic programs

Every month of July (Winter) and January (Summer), Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez offers short themed programs, of 3 weeks of duration at both Viña del Mar and Santiago campuses. It is an excellent way to learn about special topics, complement it with site visits and cultural activities. These short programs will give 3 UAI Credits, equivalent to 3 American credits and 6 ECTS.

* A minimum of 10 Students is required to offer each one of the programs.

What includes?
  • 40 hours (3 american credits / 6 ects)
  • 3 weeks of classes (monday to thursday)
  • Guest speakers
  • Integration with the uai community
  • English and spanish language
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Transcript of records with credits
  • Access to all the uai facilities (library-labs-gym-cafeteria-nursing)
  • Coordinator available 24/7

EXCHANGE STUDENTS

In order to apply for study at UAI exchange students must confirm the application procedures with their universities of origin. After that, universities inform the list of nominated students to UAI and the filling of an application form will be required.

SPRING Nomination Deadline: every April, 1st.
FALL Nomination Deadline: every November, 1st.

Students can also apply online.

  • Students or the University of Origin must send by email (digital version):
  • Application form.
  • Statement of the Student & Advisor (please check this file)
  • Passport copy.
  • Transcript of records.
  • Copy of international health insurance (*mandatory).

PROGRAM OR AGENCY STUDENTS

In order to apply for study at UAI as Program or through an Agency, students must confirm the application and payment procedures with their program or agency coordinator.

Program/Agency students are welcome to apply at any time, ideally no later than 3 weeks before the semester begins.

Program Students must send by email (digital version):

  • Application form.
  • Passport copy.
  • Transcript of records.
  • Copy of international health insurance (*mandatory).

DIRECT ENROLL/FREE MOVER STUDENTS

Students that do not have university exchange agreements with UAI or that are not coming through an Agency or Program, can still apply as Direct Enroll students for 1 or 2 semesters.

Direct Enroll students are welcome to apply at any time, ideally no later than 3 weeks before the semester begins. In order to receive more information about application terms and tuition fees, please contact us at: rrii@uai.cl
