Andrés Cúneo,
Director MBA International Programme.
Choosing an MBA programme is an important decision, as you will be acquiring and developing the fundamental pillars from where to start building a successful professional career path in management. However, this is a difficult task, mainly because of the wide MBA offer that exists there in the marketplace, both at international and domestic levels. Therefore, let me briefly introduce some key points that identify our MBA.

At UAI School of Management we are convinced that management training should be approached in a broad way, meaning, in the formal training but also developing the individual capabilities of each student. In order to do so, we train our students giving them all the management tools needed to lead the different areas of the company but we also devote a lot of effort to help students in developing their managerial skills, something key in modern management. We are aware that the society demands managers ruled by strong values, that help companies to generate economic value, but at the same time, that are aware that their decisions would have an impact in the environment where we live. This is something in what we strongly believe and that we emphasize when we train our students in the decision making process.

Throughout the programme we combine a practical approach, that allow students to be close to the “real world”, bringing into the class lots of situations that students will face when re-entering the market, with all the management innovations done in the world of business, both from a Latin-American and global perspectives, all these facilitated by a world class faculty.
Lastly, we believe that the country where the programme is being offered is a relevant factor for the success of the programme, as a competitive and open market, allows a smooth interaction between academia and praxis. In this sense, the stability and openness of Chile encourages this dynamic and, moreover represents an opportunity for all those that are interested in setting-up new ventures and might consider this country as a platform for doing business in the region.
I hope that this overview of our programme helps you to get to know us better and I look forward to meeting you in Santiago.
